CellCure Trust specializes in the archival of autologous Adult Stem cells. CellCure works with orthopedic surgeons throughout the country that are interested in helping their patients archive the stem cells in their synovial fluid as a viable medical resource for themselves and their families.

During a routine synovial fluid aspiration in the office or during knee surgery, the orthopedic surgeon collects the synovial fluid from the patient’s knee and sends it to CellCure’s sister company, Cellogx, where the stem cells are isolated, cryopreserved and stored in fully redundant, liquid-phase nitrogen freezers for safekeeping.

Other well established stem cell banking programs are focused on stem cells that are harvested in the early stages of life. The banking of umbilical cord blood and dental pulp stem cells are well-established practices available at birth and following tooth loss. The synovial fluid holds a robust pool of easily and accessible and highly viable adult stem cells and provides adult patients with the opportunity to store their own stem cells for therapeutic use in the future. Banking of adult stem cells could provide vast therapeutic potential for patients and their first and second degree blood relatives.
