ELA® cells are minimally manipulated for clinical use without any in vitro culture or cellular expansion techniques.  The cells are handled with the strictest of protocols to ensure optimal cell viability and maintenance of the original relevant characteristics of the cells.  Great care is taken throughout processing and cryopreservation to ensure a safe, high quality and consistent product.  The cells are aseptically processed using Parcell's proprietary isolation and freezing protocols in an AABB, FDA, CLIA compliant laboratory facility, aseptically packaged and stored in vapor phase liquid nitrogen to preserve the integrity of the cells.

Quantitative molecular and cellular analytical techniques are used  to ensure a targeted number of cells per therapeutic dose.  ELA cells can be shipped directly to hospitals for surgeries the following day or shipped up to thirty days in advance of a procedure.
