Parcell Laboratories

Parcell Laboratories was founded in 2008 around the regenerative cell technology discovered by researchers affiliated with the Brigham and Women's Hospital and Harvard Medical School. The company holds the exclusive license and intellectual property to the ELA cell, its isolation protocol and applications for the cell in all therapeutics.

Parcell's mission is to partner with companies that are leaders in their therapeutic fields to develop cellular-based solutions around our platform technology for the enhancement of local structural repair of injured tissues and ultimately improve the quality of life of patients of all ages.

The first therapeutic using the ELA cell was launched in October of 2010 in partnership with Alphatec Spine® to enhance the regeneration of bone in the aging spine.  The product, called PureGen®, is available throughout the country and is used in both cervical and lumbar procedures.   Parcell and Alphatec won the 2010 President's Award for Spine Technology, presented by "Orthopedics This Week" at the North American Spine Society annual meeting.
